Happy Birthday!

Happy birthday greetings are in order.  I created this 5x7 card using materials in my stash. I finished it in a hurry so I don't have many details to share.  I'll update this post when I gather my materials.  Enjoy, and I'll be back soon! Love ya and there ain't NOTHING you can do about it!

I'm Back! Well, sorta.

Hey my Crafty Family! Do you miss me? Well, even if you don't, I miss you and miss crafting on a regular basis.

I know I'm overdue for a return so, I'm gradually returning to blogging.  Get ready to be inspired and connected with me once again through my bloggy outlet here at Scrappin' Sista.  I've missed my crafty peeps.

So, for this post, I would like you to hop on over to one of my VERY FIRST design team leader's blog for her BLOGAVARSARY! There is PLENTY of eye-candy and prizes that are up for grabs.  She is the amazing Jenny of CrazyAboutCricut.  You will not be disappointed.

Remember, I love you, and there is NOTHING you can do about it!

March 2014 3D Flower Swap

This swaps will be open to the first 20 participants.  Please ONLY sign up if you know you can make the deadline.  If the items are not received by the deadline, they will be returned to you and I will proceed with the items that have been received.  I will post on my blog and the swap Facebook group when and what items are received.  Pictures will be available on my Facebook page. Sign up will go from now until March 7 or until 20 participants have signed up.
I don't have many requirements but I do request that if you participate in the swap, please follow the guidelines exactly.  This should be some of your best work so please relax and enjoy yourself but put your best foot forward.  If at all possible, please put all your items in a large plastic bag to prevent water damage. On a small piece of paper (one for each swap participant), include information about who you are (i.e. your name, and your blog address or email).  You never know who might want to follow your blog or see more of your work so please share.  You will need to include a self-addressed stamped envelope with your swap items for me to return to you.  Include a little extra postage (stamps or money) in case the return package weighs more.  If this postage is not needed, it will be returned to you. THIS STEP IS VERY IMPORTANT.

March 2014 – 3D Flower Swap – You will make 20 of the exact same flowers using any technique and they will be swapped with other crafters.  The only twist is you MUST follow the color scheme in the color palette.

Further details will be mailed to you in a confirmation email.  To sign-up, please send an email to askscrappinsista (at) hotmail (dot) com.  Remove the parenthesis and spaces.  Put "March Swap" in the subject line.  This swap will be due, March 28thNo exceptions.  Sorry to be a meanie but I don’t want to have people waiting so long to receive your wonderful creations.

***UPDATED*** LR's Very Steampunk Valentine Blog Hop

Happy Thursday!  If you're like me, then you're snowed in.  I took this time to get some things in order and other things started again.
Today, I'm joining LeslieRahye for her LR's Very Steampunk Valentine Blog Hop.  This is my first time creating a steampunk project but I enjoyed getting messy. Jessica, one my of my crafting BFF's  helped tremendously and I think my project turned out pretty good.
For your viewing pleasure, I've created a card.  I whipped the Copics out and had myself a ball.  The paint and cardboard helped to get the creative juices flowing also.

Materials
brads
cardstock
cardboard
glass accents
silver paint
Tim Holtz stickers
Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Black Soot, Antique, Broken China
Copic Markers: B21, B34, C1, C3, C5, C7, E18, E23, E33, E37, R29,W1, W1, blender

Be sure to stop at every blog and comment to be eligible for Leslierahye's drawing.
If you get lost along the way, here's the link to the line-up.

January 2014 - Valentine's Day Cut Swap

Ok! Ok!  You've been asking and I finally got myself together.  I need to get back to crafting badly too!

It’s swap time.  WOOT!  WOOT!  Please read through all the details and if you are seriously interested, please email me. I am hosting a Valentine's cut swap and it will be open to the first 20 participants unless I receive several requests for participation.  In that case, I will form a second group.  Please do not sign-up unless you know that you will be able to fulfill your commitment.  Sign up will begin now and go until January 10 or until 20 participants have signed up.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
You will cut out and fully decorate 20 identical embellishments measuring between 3" and 4".  You will need to assemble and decorate each embellishment.  We've done a swap like this in the past and it was extremely successful so I'm looking foward to doing this again.

Further details will be mailed to you in a confirmation email.  Again, to sign-up, please send an email to askscrappinsista (at) hotmail (dot) com.  Put "January 2014 Swap" in the subject line.  Remove the parenthesis and spaces.

DEADLINE:
All items will be due by the 31th of January so please have them postmarked by the 24th.   Please do not sign up if you CANNOT commit to being on time.  This is extremely important.

I look forward to a great month and making many new friends.  Have fun and let’s create.  Happy scrappin'!

PLEASE DO NOT ADD YOUR NAME.  I will add you when I confirm your participation.
